In our school system, at least in Elementary schools, parents got a list of what school supplies were required for each grade. Even the stores like Walmart had school supply lists for various schools. Schools posted them online on the schools website too. Takes the guesswork out for the parents. I do remember that my daughter had to bring in a box of tissues for the semester.

Who else just adored back to school shopping when they were younger? It might have something to do with my disability, but I just loved the end of summer I LOVED looking at all the cute folders and writing utensils and backpacks and lunchboxes and water bottles. I still do to this day.
