No, not the one with Lancelot and King Arthur. This 'Round Table' was a DC bar where a group of yuppies gathered. This 1992 Aaron Spelling soap was compared to 'St Elmo's Fire', but the flame went out rather quickly. 'The Round Table' closed for good after five episodes, with two more unaired. The generous length of the opening titles was filled by a David Bowie song: 'Young Americans'.

This was when networks were focused on shows revolved around 20 somethings. NBC had this show, ABC had a Northern Exposure knockoff called Going To Extremes, and FOX had at least 2 shows-The Heights about blue collar workers who worked nights as a bar band and the Beverly Hills 90210 spinoff Melrose Place. FOX is the only one that succeeded somewhat. The Heights was canceled early, but had the hit song "Talk To An Angel" and it briefly launched the singing career of its costar Jamie Walter's ("Hold On"). And MP found success changing its format from a straight up drama to an over the top soap opera that lasted for 7 seasons.

NBC had hoped it would be successful given it was from Aaron Spelling, and the fact it didn't have strong competition.

Their timeslot competitors at 9pm on Friday nights were Dinosaurs on ABC and the final season of Designing Women on CBS, neither of which were big raters, so The Round Table could have attracted an audience. Alas it was not to be.

David Gail later went on to another Spelling show called Robin's Hoods with Claire Yarlett (she of The Colbys, another Spelling show), and later was on Savannah, another Aaron Spelling show.

Roxann Biggs later was on Voyager.

Not to mention David Ackroyd was the original Gary Ewing alongside Joan Van Ark as Valene when the characters starred on Dallas, ahead of them crossing to Knots Landing.

Bryce Zabel, one of the producers, went on to co-create Dark Skies for NBC, and that show had been planned for 5 seasons in different decades (with a big 2 hour finale on 31st December 1999), hence why the first (and only season) was set in the 1960's to begin with.

Good work! But I am going to do "The Funky Phantom" tomorrow! And soon after, we will going to do the classic TV theme for "Will & Grace".

Roxanne Biggs right before she played B'Lanna Torres on 'Star Trek:Voyager' for seven years straight. You don't happen to know where I can find any of the five aired episodes...?

Interestingly this aired on NBC, which didn't seem to have any luck with Aaron Spelling shows.

This flopped, as did Winnetka Road. And later we had Titans, Malibu Shores and Sunset Beach (the latter being the lowest rated soap in the US until it ended).
