So far in 2021 there have been 18 tropical storms with Tropical Storm Bill and Hurricane Ida to name a few. In this lesson, students will examine the ways countries can reduce tropical storm damage including strategies, before, during and after the events. Students will also consider the impact wealth of the country could have on implementing these strategies. This class is aimed at students in Years 10/11 who want a better understanding of hazards which is an important topic in geography!
