Macro, this was a great and wonderful walkthrough of how we could dive deep into theory-crafting and understand the pathing and selection of boards. I really appreciate you taking the time to go through the pathing decisions, especially the shot where you showed pathing through boards and ended up with 35 points to spend, it really showed the priorities and how to think about how to spend your points. Very well done!!!!

Rather than see this for each class, I'd love to see a Part 2 where you dive a bit deeper with one build, say Bone Spirit. I can imagine starting with a blank slate and asking - which glyphs do we want in this build and figuring out a priority for which to include/ignore, then same with the legendary nodes. The math of whether it's better to include more legendary nodes vs. glyphs is the hard part for me to grok, as you do sometimes see boards with only 6 glyphs and more legendary nodes.

OMG! This is great. This is a video that could have saved me like 20 hours. Even though I consider myself well understanding when it comes to necro paragon boards there are still a few things I learned. I also realized that boards have an efficiency depending on if a glyph needs int or will or dex as well as the order the boards are in and I knew this well but I never took the time learn what was what and I thought it would only benefit maybe 10 points but I now see I was wrong. Thank you for you work.

Thank you so much for this video. The paragon board's concept is simple enough to understand but the efficiency was a struggle with my limited play time available. Trying to balance glyph to board order, trying to get the double rare buff. Plus I didn't realize the damage nodes were additive so I thought they had more value.

While copying a build can be nice, I've found that either through a lack of gear luck, glyph levels, or simply a play style preference needing to tweak affixes and paragon to be able to enjoy a character. I very much appreciate the knowledge to better use the paragon system and be able to build my own character. Plus I've always enjoyed finding a way to make something that isn't the meta efficient enough to surprise people.

I recently created my first paragon board for a build that was significantly different than something I saw on Maxroll etc... this helps, but honestly I wish somebody smarter than me could figure things out to fully take advantage of a variation of a build that nobody has pushed to its full potential yet

I always use your "Paragon glyph socket table" sheet trying to theorycraft my own builds. But needless to say, my boards pathing was bad ^^'.
Finally got the time to watch this video, and this is exactly what I needed to improve ! Extremely precise and well made !

this is a great educational video.
i suggest adding a worked example demonstrating ur thought process on for instance how u follow/break ur rules, how u compromise one choice over another. i suggest using overpower bone spirit with minions, 1 min roll armor affix, no all res affix, min roll int affixes (if any). amplify, corporeal, deadraiser, dominate, essence, exploit, maybe control; bone graft, blood bath, scent of death, flesheater on whatever boards that optimize this setup.
these requirements maybe difficult but this is the nature of optimizing. that's why some people's builds are underperforming.

This is amazing content, thank you. I am a Druid main and we have some great creators like Ace but we dont have anyone that actually goes into detail breaking stuff down like this. I would gladly pay you to do this for Druids 😂 I am using Stormslide build with only 5 glyphs but 4 legendary nodes and having the tools for Druid that you habe put out there for Necros would be beyond amazing.
