2DOF SimXperience + DIY Full Motion; LFS With DK2 VR
Показать описание
This is Phase 2 of my project of building the simulator which moves the entire cockpit (wheel & pedals included).
Phase 1 - attached the wheel and controls (flight stick, throttle, etc) to the moving frame.
Phase 2 - attached the pedals to the the moving frame and raised the whole rig 20" up (prevents the pedals bumping into the floor).
In this specific demo I wanted to demonstrate the maximum displacement angles for the wheel and pedals, and to show how responsive SCN5 actuators are. To do that I've set the effects in SimCommander 4 at high levels, while making the suspension of the GTR car I'm driving in LFS "softer".
Basic information about my system:
Displacement angle: Pitch: 29 degrees; Roll: 15 degrees.
Pedals displacement (vertical): 30.5CM (12.0”)
Actuators
Model: SCN5-010; Length: 150MM
Speed/Thrust Ratio:
400mm/Sec at 1Kgf; 200mm/Sec at 2.5Kgf; 100mm/Sec at 5Kgf
Motion control adapter: SX-4000 by SimXperience
VR: Oculus Rift DK2 + Positional Tracking Camera
