After you removed 10 inch screen and subwoofer from the top model, I’m now considering other cars, earlier i had clear mind of going with slavia but not anymore.

my purchase is on hold not because the deleted features were important but because I like the car so much (especially in red, the 1.5) that it feels almost like cheating to delete a feature only a couple months after launch.. the Virtus and Taigun still have it.. so it doesn’t make sense too

I was planning to buy the slavia even i had appointment last week with one of your dealer but now after get to know this downgrade and price hike i need to think otherwise.
Please bring the 10inch infotainment system and subwoofer back.
This is seriously affecting your sells.

When I went to the showroom, got to know about this update, (Infotainment system, valet, subwoofer, Android & apple auto car play updates) and that too with the price update. We understand there is some lack of availability of raw materials, at least u should have planned it in a better way. Being a skoda customer, I didn't expect this from you. Better provide a new update with all these features to make the customers happy or else it will be tougher and affect the sales.

Indian customers are ready to spend more premium while buying for the premium features and the reliability of the product...it's not whether the new infotainment is up to the mark or not, it's about letting down the customers, giving them hopes just to take it away later...and to add to this, the price hike, instead of giving some compensation...

Slavia was my 1st choice. Waited for two months to get it. And then On 40th day they announced they are downgrading on 10inch infotainment and wirless android auto and apple car play. I stil lwaited for another 20 says to see if they can adjust it somewhere. They couldn’t. The next day I went to volkswagen showroom and booked taigun. Super happy with VW and its true that Skoda lost lot of bookings in pipeline from the time they announced this downgrade.

This will make customers to go from Slavia to Virtus. But by that time, Volkswagen will also reduce the screen size ig. If not then good.

Hi Skoda India, I just booked my slavia last week. And realised that the 10inch sreen has been downgraded to the 8inch one. I was looking out for Skoda play, valet parking features but they are missing in the 8in. I have now pauses my booking. Just wanted to know if you can upgrade to 10in screen once the Semiconductor shortage is over? Even with a additional fee.? pls let me know. P.s I am rapid owner was very much looking forward to getting the slavia, now don't know what to say.

I am planning a car under 2O lakh and slavia was on my top 2 priority but this cost cutting literally disappointed me alot.
The 10inch was looking way beautiful than this one. wireless connectivity is must have feature

I noticed that the actual display on both screens is more or less the same. The 10" display does not have knobs, but the active screen does not feel a lot bigger.

Anyone else observed this?

Hey skoda india on 2nd of February i just booked the slavia style 1.0 but I didn’t like you remove 10 inch display and the woofer, any how you could do something to provide me that?

I was happy because of salvia 1.5 with manual gearbox. it is like dream comes true.all feature in one package.
and I was planning to buy slavia on diwali fastival.but when I heard that skoda removed some feature from it. like 10”infotainment display, wireless carplay, subwoofer and other options, i shocked. so I decided to leave from skoda or volkswagan.
I’m not gonna buy any of two brand’s vehicle. Because day by day both brands are removing feature saying that ‘due to chip shortage’ but it is not justice other brands also affecting from this but they are not doing it on their top end variants. It’s Disappointing.

Hello Skoda india. I was about to book slavia this week without another choice, but unfortunately I come to know about updating 8 inch tft and removing sub-woofers and increasing the price upto 60k. Seriously, come on man atleast you need to provide for top-end variants whereas vw is providing what they promised without excuses. Now, I am not sure to book slavia or go with honda city. Rectify the mistakes before it affects the sales. Thank you.

I have booked slavia 1.5 TSI manual on last week now I'm thinking to cancel and go for City Zx. When you release the product with expected features now you degraded the 10inch screen, removed the subwoofer and also increased price 60 K. Skoda made a huge mistake. This will affect sales surely.
