I've heard some say "As a neurodivergent kid or whatever i hated playing with colorful toys because i was too sensitive and got overwhelmed by bright colors". This is how they actually try to defend it.

Ok, so for better or worse, I get a lot of craft ideas from Pinterest. However, colors are a preference, and I choose bright and happy over dull and boring. My kids favorite toys I've made them have all been neon.

I will say those moms have really afraid of experimenting with colors in their aesthetic. That's is really having fear of mistakes and wanting everything being so perfect
