Today there has been a big announcement for Scum, 1.0 timelines, Dropships, New BB elements Quads and much much more, lets jump in and take a closer look.
If you're not yet aware Scum has just released a massive patch implementing a lot of the features seen in todays video.

SCUM is a multiplayer open-world survival game that offers unprecedented levels of character customization, control, and progression, where knowledge and skills are the ultimate weapons for long-term survival. The current version of the game is 0.95 "The Horde".

If they dont fix the puppets they can implement whatever they want. I guess alot of people will refund it after they get out of the early access stage

tbh this felt like lots of words, minimal information. Vehicles and dropships feel aimed at making things more interesting for mature players. And they've fixed the wrong things for novices like me. I don't need that "sheltered start location". I need less clumsy interface and controls, and less overpowered enemies - it was 50/50 whether I could survive ONE puppet encounter, regardless of skill or weapon. After my initial frustrating few hours, I had decided to wait for the full release before trying again. So hearing that is at least 6 months away, wasn't great. On the other hand, if they DO manage to resolve issues and sort out balance, it will be a better game more likely to hold my interest when I get to it. Fingers crossed. Thanks for the update.

To clarify, by "less overpowered enemies", I'd like to see enemy skill level better matched to player skill level. Throwing the same enemy at a player with 1 hour as a player with 1000 hours, is never a good idea. The experienced player does not feel any challenge, and the novice like me is instantly disillusioned they will ever get the hang of it. Once you've been hopelessly wiped out for the third successive time, it's a little obvious that the new player is not coping and needs the competition dumbed down a bit. Having no chance to learn, or enjoy a success (no matter how easy or empty), is the quickest way to lose new players.

Im actually glad the game got delayed till next year. Imo it probably should be delayed until q4 or even the following year in order for it to be a full true game.
It just seems to me that it needs SOOOO much more in order to be enjoyable.

oh i dont know if Q2 was a good idea with gta 6 dropping in Q3. scum will have a few months of playtime before it gets buried by gta 6 release. i'll be dropping it for sure til i get bored of gta 6 lol. good they are willing to keep fixing stuff though.
