My mother is a feminist. She spent my childhood telling me about how she wished she aborted me, she hates me, etc. (my father was a deadbeat and died when I was 6)

I've been raped repeatedly (& this lady is talking about things she did of her own free will, no less) - and I have NEVER thought of my child climbing on me or hugging me or something, like this. My mother was a stay at home mom, she waited on us hand and foot, she cooked, sewed and crafted anything we needed. She made all our meals, sewed a lot of our clothes and Halloween costumes, helped us with homework, chauffeured us everywhere and more. My mom is passed💔, I miss her tremendously. I'd been mortified and devastated to hear that she hated raising us and saw us as antagonists to her existence. Thank God I was born in the 70s. I can't imagine having a "modern feminist mom".
