The jukeboxes is actually legit lol.

So technical bit here. The hopper checks the block above it for items. It may be just an air block or a container block. Non full blocks like soul sand, bottom slabs, etc. have a place to hold their items too so those are also able to pick up items.

Containers, are checked through every single slot it has. So a chest will check for 27 slots. Double chest will check for 54 slots. Hopppers will check for 5 slots. And finally, composters and jukeboxes check for just 1 slot, thus causing the least amount of lag. People use composters obviously coz, 1 jukebox is 1 diamond. But hey, if you're rich, go ahead. Use Jukeboxes.
