This is true I’ve seen it with my husband and my parents, we would have the same cold and he’s like on his death bed while I continue my daily routine just pop a Tylenol and move on, I think it has to do with our pain threshold as women for one we constantly deal with the monthly pain from hell, and if your a mum with kids we never stop even when we are sick we don’t really have the time to sit and let our bodies rest

I think that a lot of women learned how to deal/ live with pain and continue to do things like go to school/work while feeling really sick and having so much pain, because we are practising it every month. I think it help us build a stronger immune system and our body already knows how to deal with it.

Don't let facts get in the way of your misandry TIME. Women take significantly more sick leave from work than men do. This is even true when comparing childless men with childless women.

The video notes that most men already don't look after their health well enough. All this gender shaming, such as referring to 'man flu' and saying men are worse at being sick, just makes it worse. It's men who soldier on when sick, even when they shouldn't.

Men and women simply respond to infections a little differently on average, and there may be good reasons for this in the context of hunter-gatherer societies.
