wtc hit entry FLIR preview

To everyone - this is NOT A FINAL SHOT nor an actual simulation. It is a preview of a dream sequence for my upcoming "Pilot" film. Obviously there is no correct physics everywhere, people should be dispersed inside the jet in a different way and so on. Since I do most of the shots all by myself it takes many iterations and sketches to finalize any rendered sequence and greenlit it into a feature film. Please be patient - all constructive comments are welcome.

Imagine being one of those people standing by the window drinking a coffee and all of a sudden in an instant you’re falling from the tower to your death and you have no clue what just happened. Horrible.

The best thing that could happen to them at that time is to die instantly from the plane hit. Surviving that shock and then dying must have been gruesome.

Sadly, this was reality. I wonder if those poor souls knew where they were heading. For one, they were flying way too low & too close to buildings. I would have said my prayers, not looked out the window & closed my eyes. Life goes on which is true but the events of that awful day still linger on even in 2020.

first responders describe the streets as being so thoroughly covered in human body parts that they couldn't help but step on them as they made their way into the towers

Quite accurate. Lumps of flesh were found (and photographed) in all the surrounding streets. I don't hink most people understood what it was., except for the odd bigger chunk.

I talked to my Dad about this the day it happened and then years later. You know it was a workplace for a ton of people. It was early. Many were having coffee and then all of a sudden, they hear something, it violent erupts with heat behind it, their ears pop and then they are still hold their cup and falling almost 1000 feet down to their death. Be thankful to be on the plane or in the direct impact zone where they were just obliterated in micro seconds. Probably just felt like being crushed. I cannot imagine. People had to be born and graduate high school to mosey into work one day and have this happen to them. Still to this day it makes me sad and furiously mad.

Impressive graphics, however the passengers were not evenly distributed in the plane. The hijackers moved everyone to the back of the plane.

The "lucky" ones died instantly as opposed to being trapped above the impact zone, falling/jumping (seems more were pushed due to panic), or crushed when collapsed. I still remember watching this live after few minutes when the second plane hit.

It is amazing how even in the impact zone they were survivors (very few of course I must say) nearly unscathed, thinking here of waving Edna Cintron and the man slightly above her who was also waving from the impact zone

The airplane part of the simulation is partially incorrect. The plane wasn’t full of passengers as depicted here. Most were at the back of the aircraft, leaving the hijackers in full control of the cockpit. The front was mainly empty due to most passengers not being able to breathe because of something that one of the hijackers sprayed into the cabin.
