I have had my Minnesota Real ID for almost 4 years. I have to renew it this year. It was a pain in the azz to do especially for my wife as she needed a copy of her divorce decree from her 1st marriage, 35 YEARS ago. I'm not sure but someone told me they no longer require that sort of thing.

If they are going to make people jump through all of the hoops to get this "Real ID", then there should be no sort of "special" or "limited" ID for illegal aliens and we ALL should be required to show this "Real ID" when we vote.

It's NOT easy...a married & divorced woman has to show EVERY name change ( marriage & divorce papers). I don't have my 1st marriage documents. It was long, drawn out, nasty & YEATS AGO. I have my 2nd marriage papers..but they WONT let me get enhanced or real id...they need to see all of them...hello..I couldn't marry my 2nd husband if I wasn't divorced from my 1st!!! I'll take the train thank you!!!
