I was born in 1984. I remember when our devices were optional, when TVs were furniture and when you had to stand near the phone to use it. 24/7 connection was unnecessary; if people wanted to find you, they either looked or knew where you were. We remembered numbers. We earned our information the hard way, by seeking it out in books and magazines.

Born in 82, I never forget the lat 90s until about 2005 it was magical.

In 1984 I was 8. Riding round on a bmx. Like stranger things. In UK. No Internet a phone was a phone. Nothing else!
Basic computers but they were still cool. Sony Walkman. Playing vinyl. 4 channels on TV. All the US tv like the a team magnum Knight rider airwolf. Classic synth amd classic rock music. You had amazing music films. It was a free and special time. Still had school though that was tough!

I was a child in the 1990's but clearly I can relate to this vibe. Everything was (at least seemed) easier, more laid back, and felt secure.

I came of age in the 80s. Economically, Reaganomics had the country in a chokehold. Socially, AIDS and the war on drugs were the "grim reapers" of the decade. It was a bittersweet time to be alive. Despite the chaos all around us, we talked, laughed, danced, and loved each other. There was no technology to hide behind; it was simply an authentic time.

I was 13 in 1984. Sometimes it sounded like this, usually in TV and movies. Mostly it sounded like Motley Crue and Van Halen.
But what I dig about this is that it FEELS like 1984.
So it's gonna be on all day while I work.
