Ok super important context:
The serum Himeko injects at the end is anti-honkai serum and totally nullifies honkai infection, Himeko was infected and on her last legs and she was supposed to use it on herself to save her own life, but instead used it on kiana to give her another chance at hers, and now you are even sadder

Well.. her name is Murata ... like.. you know? the freaking Pyro Archon in Genshin.

Rather than Vanessa, there is a theory that she did not actually die, but instead was transported(Isekaid) to the Genshin Impact bubble universe via the Sea of Quanta(the thing she fell into in this cinematic) and became the Archon of Fire and Goddess of War Muratan, then presided over the Pyro nation of Natlan and created the Muratanian Race, which Vanessa and Dilucs ancestors the Knight of Dawn were both a part of. Even in the video on GI's official channel where Dainsleif narrates a little about the upcoming chapters, he particularly emphasized how Muratan has secrets no one else knows about the world of Teyvat and that she might only share them with a select few, particularly the traveler, due to him/her being able to traverse different dimensions (maybe she is hoping to find a way to go back to her original dimension with the travelers help?). Anyway, it's the chapter I am looking the most forward to, Himeko is my absolute favourite character in HI3, and seeing her again in GI will literally make me tear up, and should she become playable, . you can bet your ass I will bankrupt myself to get her.
