I dont think thats the M1, that is the IPM1 the first version of the abrams I think, the normal abrams have a 120mm canon with max pen of 629mm

Pros: some versions have protection for the crew next to the ammounition, so if the ammo explodes it wont do much

Since the turret is edged not rounded at that place one hit in that place the stuff ricochet and get inside easily

Very silly post. You are talking about the very first version of the M1. It has been upgraded over the years in every way, especially the main gun which is 120mm, not a 105.
