With all the holes on this course being so short, I know you are driving well, but perhaps you could think about hitting 3 wood or shorter off the tee to leave you in the fairway with your favourite distance in? Its hard work trying to get up and down from 70 yards with less control than you would have from say 100 yards

You kept your cool pretty good compared to before when the game went south. Good work.
Would a wider stance on longer club help with your balance issue? I've been working on a similar takeaway feel for my irons and it seems to help keeping on plane better. I've noticed that it now feels like I'm starting the downswing with the hands too which actually not a bad thing for someone with excessive hip speed.

Good vid, great to see you got some good things going with the driver. This is not a criticism, just mentioned as it may be some help with the iron contacts (like the fat lob wedge) There's a little bit of a vertical height rising up as you take the club back reflex action is to lower down on the way down which can tend to leave too much weight on the right side so not so clean contact with the ball on the ground, off a tee you have a little bit more leeway to work with on the vertical axis. Quick question (not really related to this video): after a long session of practicing, do you find your swing devolving? I went to the PGA superstore yesterday (I'm kind of like a kid in a candy store - I don't know when to stop!) So I started out hitting my 7 iron and driver really pure (after a break-through swing thought) In trying to duplicate and fortify this new thought I let the shot counter go past 200! Instead of leaving the hitting bays feeling recharged and inspired, I left dejected after my initial 280 yard, tiny dispersion drives diminished to 240 yard, two-way misses.

The Elvis move is going to be your Achilles Heel, no pun intended, with you're driving accuracy. It's really holding you back. Also, one tip would be to focus on getting into the layup zone at 80-110 yards on holes instead of just banging driver all day...

Do you attribute your higher than normal score to not hitting the range and green prior to your round? If I don't have time to hit at least 30 balls and some putts and chips first, I usually just practice. I almost feel like it's more harm than good to play without a proper pregame routine.

I used to get upset too. Then I realised I was still shit and not at all as good as I thought I was. Then it only made sense that my normal shots would be shit; and that the great shots are the ones out of the ordinary, not the bad ones. My temperament is much better now, so much so that I have improved putting.

I am part of the beta program too. I'm having issues with it cause it's not tracking my drives accurately. I hit a 300 yard drive and stop at my playing partners ball at like 270 and it tracks that instead. It's very frustrating. It's also weird cause it says I have a +9.4 driving handicap.

What changes did you do to increase your yardage?

Not one to say that it is the arrow but the SLDR is one of the least forgiving drivers period. That is the reason mine sits in my spare club bag instead of in my actual bag. Have you thought about having a driver fitting? Or in WRX fashion just pick up a M1 head if you like the shaft you have in your current driver.

Good intents were good but you don't let go of a bad or not perfect shot and it messes you up for the next shot. You got a let it go and only focus on this shot..Also, I agree with the ninja....most of those holes do not require a driver....all about course management!....keep your eyes on the prize!

Focus problem, needs only 3W sometimes, especially a day where you make miles.
You don't play golf, to sum up. You're only happy driving, as if a driver in a car was happy to handle only the wheel.
