Great tips man. Can you use a trackman so I can fully see the ball fly

Put it forward on your stance as well for big draws. That’s how I shape it. If I want to fade it a little back draw forward. Works 100%

So, what side of the tee box would you aim/stand or play from?

Dog..Left. L-tee box aim to R-Ctr with closed stance?

Dog..Right R-tee box aim dn right with closed stance?

Straight, I understand what to do!!!!

You’d have to open the face some in the swing for the ball to not go left of target. If the club face is aimed at the target at impact it’s going to essentially start on that line and assuming an in to out (draw) path it’ll draw left of target instead of at the target.

Does this method work also for left-handed golfers point your body left to the target Keeper club feet square should I strike the ball at 5:30 being at 12 o’clock is straightahead

need to see the arch - I am a lefty so I need to reverse what you are saying and doing

I naturally hit draws, would prefer a fade though as it produces more predictable golf shots with softer landings.

If the club face is at the target and you play a draw then surly your ball will finish left of target. The ball will always start where the club face is aiming at impact

Maybe it's me but it seems to be the opposite. The body/hips is to the target and the ball/club is pointing right of target (hence right to left draw). When I aim ball to target the ball draws left of target instead of "to target."

Another one is think of trying to hold your back to the target as long as you can from the backswing. Doing that helps allow for a better inside-to-out club path direction. (BTW, I am not a pro. This was a drill my instructor/friend/Pro Card holder showed me to fix my over-the-top)

Ok, I've never understood this advice. At least, I can say this method has never worked for me (I'm a 3 hdcp). My understanding is that the vast majority of the direction of the ball flight is dependent on club face direction (something like 85% of ball flight direction is from where the face is pointing). So, if you aim the clubface at your target but you swing inside out, it seems to me the ball will start AT your target and then draw (or hook, if you overcook it) AWAY from your target. This used to happen to me all the time. If you're playing a draw, it seems to me you must aim your club to the right of the target and expect the ball to start to the right and work back towards the target. What you're advocating is how Jack Nicklaus advises how to do it in his book Golf My Way but I've never once been able to get proper results from that. And this applies to whether you're playing a draw or a fade. Wherever the face is pointing, that's where the ball will START.

Just to confirm, the right arm finishing over the left should be done for any “standard” swing and not just for the draws, right? Thanks!

? - aiming at the target with closed CF, in my set up it appears I am going further left, thoughts?

If all this doesn’t help, excessive strong grip and lower your swing plane, what feels under plane

Playing a draw is 95% the shallowing move at the top of your backswing

You shallow your swing for a draw. Period. You may produce draw shots here and there with this method, but it will not be consistent.

Yeah would be really cool if we could see the ball
