Experimental Apes Become Too Smart & Start Revolting Against Humans

Dr. Will Rodman hopes to cure his ailing father and experiments on primates for a drug that will allow the brain to repair itself. He inadvertently creates a hyper-intelligent chimpanzee who he raises and calls Caesar. The little chimp soon grows too smart, and when Caesar becomes aware of his kind's place in human society, he transforms into a threat to all humankind.

I remember this movie got me so excited for future installments.. this one had the best story out of all the recent Planet of the Apes films. Not that the others were bad by any means! Maybe just left a little bit more to be desired

This is the only movie that got me emotional i didn't cry but i was sad cus Cesar was so smart and Will was like a parent to him i really wanted them to be family again

Just saying, if it was me, I would probably agree with them. One thing nobody I knew back in the day ever acknowledged was, this is the planet of the apes. The only difference is which apes are in charge.

My problem with this entire movie series is humanity blames the chimps for everything. But the humans are the true monsters. Put down so many chimps they tested on. Kept locked up in tiny cages all the time. Honestly humanity deserves this outcome really.

☝️🤓 Description should be changed from “apes become too smart” to “apes become smart enough.” After all, the bad guys in this film are humans. Also, the narrator refers to the chimpanzees, orangutan, and gorilla at the supposed sanctuary as monkeys, though, like we humans, all of these are Great Apes, not monkeys.
