Tasha Jackson is a psychotherapist who truly understands neurodiversity. She explores the beautiful qualities of people who are autistic, dyslexic, highly sensitive, and ADHD. As a neurodiverse person herself, Tasha inspires us to empathize and to consider creating small policy changes, especially in education, so that all neuro-types can be empowered and valued for their contributions to society. "With a diverse clientele that ranges from drag queens to CEOs, psychotherapist Tasha Jackson (MA) has been widely published in magazines, academic journals, and has guest lectured as a master-level teacher. Raised by a lesbian mother, Tasha gained national attention in the LGBTQ community for being one of the first U.S. based therapists to champion gay parenting. After her first TEDx talk in 2020, “How Can We Not Let Breakups Break Us?” she swore off public speaking (due to anxiety), but was drawn back to the TEDx stage to talk about an issue close to her heart, “What Everyone Needs To Know About Divergent Minds.”

Great insight Tasha! The most dangerous thinking is in believing we are the only ones feeling what we are feeling, seeing what we think we're seeing, experience what we are experiencing. Great message that will no doubt help others feel less isolated. Well done!
