14,000 ORIGINAL MILES ... Unrestored showroom condition ... 5.7 liter V-8 diesel with original 350 DX block ... Limited slip differential ... Ready to show and enjoy ...

This stunning 1981 Oldsmobile 98 Regency has traveled just 14,000 miles since leaving the showroom in 1981. If you’re looking for a show quality, unrestored, Oldsmobile that will continue to appreciate in value, this is it.

Finished in luminous White, this car’s original finish has a beautiful luster that is further accentuated by its matching full vinyl padded roof and contrasting factory hand-painted Maroon pinstripes. Exterior opera and cornering lamps also contribute to an air of luxury. Optional simulated wire wheel discs and an abundance of chrome complete the look.

This 98’s Regency interior is nothing short of sumptuous. The padded door cushions, simulated Butterfly Walnut-grain door pulls and trim, and courtesy lamps beckon you into an environment of comfort and luxury. The Maroon velour loose-pillow-look seatbacks provide comfortable seating for six. You will also appreciate its split front seats with a center arm rest embellished with rich embroidery. Its commanding dashboard, also finished in simulated walnut and tastefully applied chrome, is a driver’s dream. All areas of the interior, including door panels, seating areas, carpeting, dashboard, steering wheel, and headliner appear as new and are without wear.
Comfort and convenience items do not go unnoticed in this car and include the following:

• Power windows
• Power door locks
• 6-way power driver’s and passenger’s seats
• Electric rear-window defogger
• Automatic cruise control
• Four-season air conditioner
• Front and rear factory floor mats
• Body side molding & bright door edge guard moldings
• Limited slip differential
• Engine block heater
• Tilt-away steering wheel
• Trip odometer
• Power antenna
• Electric clock

All power options work as they should, with the exception of the rear tilt feature on the passenger’s seat.

Under the hood you will find a 5.7 Liter V-8 diesel engine mated to a three-speed automatic transmission. Its glow plugs ensure quick starting every time, and it is equipped with an optional engine block heater to ensure easy startups on even the coldest of days. The car runs and drives like new and has performance that exceeds many of its contemporaries of the time, all while offering impressive fuel economy.

This car benefits from new tires, new front shocks, a new air conditioning compressor, re-coring of the radiator, and a rebuilt fuel pump.

Originally sold from McIntyre Olds-Cadillac, Inc. of Council Bluffs, Iowa, this car has always been properly stored indoors and has never seen a winter. Included with sale are its original keys, owner’s manual and other glove box paperwork, and service records.

Whether showing or cruising is your pleasure, this ultra-low mileage 1981 Oldsmobile 98 Regency is the one for you!

Back in the 80's we had a shop specializing in all these GM Diesels. Remember them well. This has to be the nicest one in existence. Wish I could own this. ARP sells a head stud kit for these engines. Broken bolts were on of the downfalls.

Those cars, were the very essence of almost having your cake and eat it too, you take the over stuffed velour seats, and then you grab the chassis from the most popular car in America in 1976 the cutlass supreme, combined with it's carefully crafted ninety eight like styling and you have a cutlass supreme, regency brougham 1982-84, unforgettable experience, performance and luxury.❤❤❤❤❤❤

With only 13, 000 you got a classic.the old man who brought it new must have known how maintain it, after 40 years it's obvious.

Congratulations, that is such a beautiful boat - my parents owned one since 1981 (same color in and out) and we kept the car for nearly 20 years in Monterrey, MX and because of this car, all of my cars have been mid-size sedans until today's date.

I did have one it was an 81 Delta 88 and the guy I bought it from took the 57 out and put a 6.2 L truck diesel in it and that car was amazing. Average 44 miles to the gallon: trailer Aaron did matter 44 miles a gallon love that car. Still wish I had it

They once made some kooky claim that if your dad drove a car like this or a same-age Cadillac, then you have siblings that you never met!
