Most people don't know the difference between cheap & frugal - Cheap means you will avoid spending money at all costs even to your own detriment, frugal means you are happy to spend but want to get the most from your money. I would say from your videos (which I am enjoying) you are living a comfortable frugal life which is is far better than living beyond your means

I’m 55 living US 39 years & I decided to move back to Japan this fall because of my divorce after 29 years of marriage & now my son is in college.
