Still getting low fps ? try lowering the resolution ingame i.e Using the Resolution Scale option, Start at 100% then work downwards until viable results are found.

Excelent guide, thanks a lot. Ive been really struggling with performance in DayZ. Now I run the game with better graphics then before with very smooth performace. Very well done sir indeed! Ive tried performance guides in several games, since my pc is not up to date for quite a longf time, but in most cases the gides did not lead to very signifficant improvements. OMFG.... YES. Dude my game was constantly stuttering and freezing it was pissing me off so much I almost uninstalled the game, I kept going from 80 fps down to 3 the game would just freeze up for like 10 seconds, now I'm getting 120 or so fps game still looks good and NO MORE FREEZING. You best believe I hit that sub button, I hit the sub button so hard my mouse blew up into flames.
