Considering that this is timber framed with osb. That is so expensive. You could build the cabin alone for less than 50k.

To purchase, understandable. To build, that’s expensive @ $400/sqft. Location is important when assessing cost, but I haven’t seen any building cost close to that much.

My dad is a building and electrical contractor over 50yrs and does his own designs, he wont even look at stuff that is outrageously overpriced when like the other gentleman said about 50, 000 is what its cost would be, I bought a few lots in Fla in Putnam Co and could build those and sell them with land for a fraction of what this guy paid.. And I can build with shipping containers there its allowed.

That’s the extra cost of going small. What would be the difference if you double the square footage. Not another $220K that’s for sure. I mean you wouldn’t need another concrete pour, only one kitchen, one AC/Heat solution etc.

The finishes inside are probably high end that adds to the price. Just framing it and foundation wont be much. Windows are probably premium that adds to price. But is property included?

In a time were materials are high and custom things are expensive if your looking for quality. So the price is believable

People who jumped into Airbnb rentals, are on red now, cuz not many people are renting Airbnb, and these mid class people who bought properties and remodeled to make money on Airbnb are loosing a lot of money, no profit and a lot of people can't pay mortgage now
There's people in Florida beach front who got their Airbnb rentals destroyed last month too.

That's does not seem like a good deal at all imo, Seen bigger homes just a little uglier for like half or 3/4ths the $220k price. You can get an acre of land and a double wide trailer and a creek in the back for $140k to BUY. 4 bedrooms 3 baths, a kitchen, dining room, 2 living rooms and a laundry room.
