Richard Branson, CEO of Virgin Galactic, started his entrepreneurial journey at the age of 16. Ever since, he has created over 400 different companies across diverse sectors, from a record label company to an airline company to a space travel company, to name just a few. A risk-taker in business & life, Branson has even tried travelling the world in a hot air balloon. In 2021, at the age of 70, he embarked on a journey into space, he travelled as a passenger on Virgin Galactic Unity 22, a sub-orbital test flight, conducted by his spaceflight company Virgin Galactic. The mission lasted about 1 hour, taking Branson to the edge of space.
