Einstein did not believe in an all-knowing benevolent god. He viewed the physical nature of the universe as his 'god' as evidenced by his own words:

"It was, of course, a lie what you read about my religious convictions, a lie which is being systematically repeated. I do not believe in a personal God and I have never denied this but have expressed it clearly. If something is in me which can be called religious then it is the unbounded admiration for the structure of the world so far as our science can reveal it." As a Muslim, I'm sorry but this was a terrible argument. Whether a *non-Muslim* scientist believes in God or not, it does not determine whether or not God exists.

I am so appreciative of atheists. These are people who there to work any time of day, week, month, or year, and don’t need to stop to pray and engage in ritual, nor see someone killed for not wearing particular clothing, nor force someone to reproduce and give them sickness like that, nor expect extra words or services or materials used to convey religious meanings, nor expect me to profess any kind of faith as opposed to showing raw and inexplicable emotion, and would use a relationship to chimps to best understand our dietary needs.
