You can just use the /fill command to fill the area

Those times when you wish minecraft would add a sneaky right click to dye in with one of the edits. I really wish they would do that. Dyeable maps, dyeable wool, anything that can be dyed should be able to be right clicked to dye!

You can use this to create a relatively small room that has no perception and appears to be an endless void from the inside of the room, just by duping the map.

I did this on a factions server, we were ftop 1 and we had a map that was our faction logo and it was really cool.
