Palpatine's body was a CLONE and it was OBVIOUS!

The darkside of the force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. It seems cloning is one of those abilities, and a dark lord of the weeb like myself isn't surprised.

I didn't mention it in the video, but the Snoke clones also proved they had the technology to do it. And according to the actor of Palatinate, one of the cut lines was him basically confirming his body was cloned.

I will assume that right after transferring his essence to the clone body that the clone body looked much like he did before the fight with Mace Windu. Overtime his power and natural decay took it's course.

Palpatine's face in Rise is completely different but with respect, maybe it's because of old age?

I automatically assumed that it was a clone, For one simple reason: That story beat was ripped directly from Legends continuity. Palpy didn't die after being thrown down the reactor shaft in that Timeline either, and survived in pretty much the exact same way. (hell i would argue the lightning he conjures to disable the Resistance Fleet was an homage to the Force Storm ability he used in that particular story as well but that's not too important.)

I picked up on that rebel's dialogue about how Palpy came back and just had the smuggest grin on in the Theatre, but the more i thought about the Saga as a whole the more sense Palpy being a clone makes. You are going to tell me that Palpatine, a Sith (possibly the Greatest Sith Lord in Canon) who hid in plain sight, orchestrated an entire war playing both sides so that he could take control of the Republic, and wipe out the Jedi in one Swoop would not have been smart enough to have a fail safe if Darth Vader ever turned on him and succeeded.

Between The Rebel's Dialogue, the Snoke Clone, and Sidious saying the Thing "the Dark Side is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural" It is abundantly obvious imo. Especially on a second viewing.

How could he be a clone? Theoretically he can have hundreds of clones so I don't buy it
