How to fix LG direct drive motor LE error code

Mine has an LE error also. I checked the rotor and all looks good. No wear. I changed the bearings last year so that should be good to. But it’s making a sound now like something is touching rotor.

Is this an easy job? I have a LG front-load that’s 13 years old throwing the LE error and machine not spinning, in your experience is it worth fixing or should I replace the unit?
