you could spend all night on youtube or forums reading about oil filters and oil. and then do that for a month and still not scratch the surface. basically, amsoil is the best oil. its very expensive. get pennzoil ultra platinum. change it every 5-7K miles. best filter is Fram Ultra Synthetic. its supposed to last longer than normal. otherwise use the OE filter, wix, stp is fine your filter is fine. valvoline is okay oil. their new flush oil is cool. you need to change filter prematurely i guess
