I could totally relate .. bought my first house and ride at age 23.. Investing made that possible

I'm 23 and am buying a house right now. I'm going to close in a few weeks. If I had to do it again I would of been more patient when buying a house I think I overpaid, but only by a little. I also would of been more familiar with interest rates before buying a home.

I’m 23, and I’m Scott! Not from Nashville though.

I’m definitely going to follow strict financial plan at age 19 when I start my apprenticeship in September!!!.

I'm 23 and was beginning to wonder this same thing. Remarkable timing!

You can't even tell that that call was from inside the studio. Excellent plug btw.

Very smart for such a young age. My son is 24 living with me and he is also saving to buy a house

I relate to this video & I think a lot of other young adults can too. I’m in a similar situation: 23 going on 24 in October with about $5k in debt and $6k in savings also thinking about saving to buy a house. My income is around $50k/year before taxes. Instead I’m located in south Florida though. Think I’ll reconsider and do it the way they explained in this video

I’ll be 24 in September with no debt and I have a net worth total of roughly 67k!! Not trying to brag just saying it’s possible for anybody. I’ve never cleared 45k a year I’ve just well budgeted and saved everything I possibly could!

Step 1 . 2 .3 are good for young people because it give you freedom but with all the opportunity today I will no buy a home unless I have a business first that can provide me money to buy a home cash.

he sounds older than 23. But either way, he seems like a smart young man, and i think he will be a baby step millionaire in no time with a paid off house.

Dave Ramsey: throw every chance you have of building wealth at paying off your debt so you come out years later with $0 instead of investing and growing your available funds
Thanks Dave!

Such a great timing, I’m 26 and on the same boat!

Why would you throw 4k right into the debt. What happens if your transmission goes? What happens if you need new brakes and tires. 1k ain't paying for that.

This caption is pretty deceptive. What about after his debt, retirement vs house, what is the time horizon on that?
