How to Fix a Gurgling Toilet

If you already tried plunging your toilet and it still is gurgling. Check to see if the fill valve water tube is attached inside the flush valve to add water in the bowl.

Insanely Helpful video. They changed our water meter and I assume the water hammer from air in the lines caused it to come loose.

Thank you so much. My tank inside is not the same but the black hose was on a clip. The water was filling outside. I moved the clip to the left side of the white tube. The water now goes inside like you showed. My hubby has spent weeks looking. Took me less than 2 mins total to find your video, watch it n fix it. Thank you so much. Google doesn’t know everything. holy shit you saved me. My toilet wasn't even particularly gurgling but the water level suddenly was weirdly low and when i left the handle down my bathroom flooded (which it normally does NOT do that if i leave it down.)
but i opened up the tank and sure enough, the tube was off. put it back, water levels back to normal, and no longer flooding. yippie!

Yep, had similar, but bigger bubble/gargle when I flushed. A few plunges and it seems ok now.

It helped Me, just to make sure i had new seal and everything but this bubbling was causing minor leak at the base of toilet, could this be a problem because that tube was out?

Hi mine is attached. My vent and sewer are clean. But yet the bathroom downstairs still gurgle when I flush the one upstairs. Any suggestions? 5 plumbers came including roto rooters and they couldn’t help
