Fantastic recap of your year. Brought back some great memories, lots of laughs, and few ouchies, and lots of learning. A great 2022 awaits for sure.

Hi Lauren & Chris. Happy new year to you both. My wife and I are also fairly new to sailing. We bought our first sailing boat in June 2020, a Beneteau Oceanis 343 we absolutely loved the sailing and three months later bought an immaculate barely used Bavaria 42 Cruiser. Our home marina is MDL Chatham, and last year we sailed from Ramsgate directly to Brixham, a passage of 215 nautical miles, with very little experience. We then explored Cornwall for 8 weeks. On our return, we sailed from Brixham to Poole, and then Poole to Brighton, and then Brighton to Eastbourne, and then Eastbourne to Ramsgate, and then Ramsgate back to Chatham. We've recently returned from Gibraltar, where we both completed our Day Skipper Practical course, we done the theory part in the UK prior to departing. We are going to the Med next year and will be stopping in Brighton enroute to Plymouth, so hopefully my wife and I will get the chance to say hello to you both. You're both doing great job, and the only real way to learn is to jump in like you have and get as much as experience as possible. All the best to you both. Kind regards Daryl.

I don’t comment very often but I’ve been watching from the beginning. Keep sailing to grow your experience.

Have enjoyed watching your guys this year (or rather last year now). Looking forward to seeing what 2022 has to bring - hopefully no more big repairs

Sailing Cadoha have a great YouTube channel as well and haven't really gone anywhere in two or three years. It doesn't make it any less watchable. I think seasickness can be a real problem for people who haven't sailed before.

Hey guys thanks for sharing your adventure. Happy New Year. Looking forward to what the year has in store for us all. I’ve been re fitting my Nor’Sea 27 for the past 3 years and am just about ready to put her in the water to see if she still floats. You guys are so fun to watch, because I to started this project with no knowledge about what the heck I was doing, I just didn’t video it all. Wish I had been able to. Be safe.

Happy New Year to you guys. You certainly have come a long way since saying sorry as you motored into the wall in Norfolk 😃. Oh and Chris the most important thing on the boat is to keep the lady happy so I suggest you get those cushions recovered.

Well done guys, you’ve certainly had your fair share of boat jobs that needed to be done, all involving £££££! Happy new year and hope to see you around the beautiful south west coast later this year (I can say THIS year now 👏)

Great to see you both having a go! It looks like you’re learning and enjoying boat life so much👍🏼, might get to meet up one day as Karen (my better half) and I are starting our journey around the Uk in 2022 if all goes well.
