Not as easy as you make it look and it also depends on the dps you get . Where I was they wanted every back at a certain time so no matter how many packages or fucked up routes you could come back late like you did you get 9 hrs nd even tho it sounds like a lot of time it really isn’t . I have a new respect for delivery drivers in the city tht shit is tough especially mentally.

Scan the van to make sure vehicle is safe, as per the last driver who “inspected” it and isn’t a mechanic. Then, if something is wrong don’t report it, tell ur manager, they’ll take your key and give it to another driver to do the process all over again and if they don’t catch anything then they take the van. They don’t care. They only care about delivering packages. Not safety

I used to love/hate managing DSPs. I met some great people, but the whole system is about high turnover and burning people out and letting contractors handle the mess. The algorithm will give you more and more stops and cap you at 190 or even more, and then AMZL brilliantly took advantage of “Group Stops” where a growing chunk of those 190 stops are group stops with 2 to 4 adjacent adressses. So 270-400 addresses in a 10 hour day. Congrats on the network-wide raise for drivers, though! Well deserved.

Apartments are easy because most have Amazon lockers to place the packages in instead of driving to each apartment buildings 1 by 1.
