There is a severe lack of understanding about technology basics by congress today, remember when they asked Zuckerberg questions that revealed this. There needs to be an ability to be flexible and handle these new technologies as they roll out while maintaining conservative stability. What we've seen before is fear-based reaction without being at the forefront perspective of these industries. This among many other reasons is why we need new blood in those long-standing seats of power in government. Term limits, please!
