Why not require a in-home consultation? Where she goes to the home days before the party to see if the pole will fit, test it out, etc. It seems odd to simply show up with a pole not knowing if it’ll fit or not in the middle of a party.

We all know OPP was Douglas's jam back in the day 😅

So the defendant did not inquire about the ceiling before agreeing to the party, did not show up ahead of time to set up, arrived late, damaged the plaintiff's property, couldn't deliver her services, AND refused to give her a refund? How dare she act indignantly! She needs better business practices and a better attitude🙄

When I saw the defendant bring the actual pole to the court, I knew this was going to be good

I can't imagine how the defendant has run a successful business for several years. It sounds like she didn't confirm anything before hand. She's talking about the importance of the height and strength of the ceiling, the safety of the women using the pole... So insist on visiting the home beforehand, or refuse to have the party at the house and insist they come to the studio. She's acting like she was helpless in all of this when it was her job to plan and execute this thing!

If you didn't wanna do the party, then give her the money back! Not that hard 😂

Party seemed sloppy and not well planned. So it's good she got her money back.

The way EVERYBODIES head turned so fast when the plaintiff said “thank you” while JM was talking 😂😂😂

And “I should’ve let everyone fall off the pole” is crazy work. It wasn’t even set up and I’d never book you ever lol.

Judge: "And what did you do with the husband?... he was hiding in the closet" as Judge proceeds to bust out her imaginary looking glass. 😂

The defendant had a nasty attitude towards the end. She has her nerve when she couldn’t provide for the plaintiff.

How the heck can you secure that pole so it holds a person swinging and not crack the drywall!?!!

The defendant's poor grasp of English grammar, syntax, etc. would deter me from hiring her for anything. She sounds so unprofessional.

The judge is clueless sometimes. Those are ancient parquet floors, they're orange-yellow from the old varnish and would be a totally different color if you sand and varnish a patch in the middle of the room.

8:46 If she would have been there when she said she was gonna be there they would have figured all that out way ahead of time. I would have been so mad and I would not have been paying her. 18:47 Ridiculous to think she can keep her $ for doing nothing but damage

The judge complains about people not having a statement from a professional then when she has one the judge acts like it's not good enough because she knows better....WTF is the point of yelling at people to get a receipt or a statement from a professional only to yell that it's not acceptable and I've done this my whole life!

Her pole is not very adjustable if the standard ceiling height is 8 feet and it didn't fit because the ceiling was 7'8".
