Im an RN. What I think is crazy is in Massachusetts, they send out a report on all discipline meted to nurses. Most of us aren’t paid by the state. Most of us are paid by non profits or for profit( a rant for another day) private businesses. We can’t get the personnel files or the discipline taken against officers by public record but they automatically send out disciplinary records against nurses. You don’t even have to ask for it! It’s a quarterly report! But those that our tax dollars pay to employ, they keep those te it’s private. Doesn’t seem right does it?
