This video shows how a queen-size Murphy bed was built using the Vevor Murphy bed hinge kit. The bed is designed to look like an antique bead board cabinet. It unfolds horizontally into a sleek platform bed that minimizes the space needed in the room.

This project did NOT require an expensive Murphy bed hinge kit. It used a very reasonably priced Vevor hinge kit purchased on Amazon.

This project did NOT require the construction of a large plywood cabinet to hold the bed. This would have been too bulky in an antique home and probably result in an “IKEA vibe”.

I love the design. I've been looking for a side fold twin mattress Murphy bed. This design would work great...too bad I dont have the skill to build it😅
