These guys were public figure. They had many many interviews prior to the moon landing and they were fine. All the sudden now they couldn't handle the crowd

If you lived through the pressure of leaving our planet and not burning up during reentry I higly doubt that a big crowd who is there to celebrate you would stress you out. After surviving a trip to te Moon and back an event like this would be literally like a walk in a park.

When I was a kid in the eighties, not understanding a single english word I joined my dad watching this and immediately asked him:
„What are those men guilty of?“

This is not stage fright. These men are sad to be there, something is not right with this whole scene. Everybody would be at least smiling a bit and talking about this magnificent achivement in their situation. This is not simple stage fright.

You analyzed this or one very similar but was shorter a while back. You had a different interpretation if I remember, and you had not mentioned stage fright but deception. Why the change? This is clearly NOT stage fright. People were not as flamboyant as they are nowadays but this is too contrived.
