Remembered by the public for the moonlanding, underrated for their other accomplishments (doing test pilot stuff etc)

Wow, what amazing engines they must’ve had on that Lander… not a speck of dust was disturbed on the moon surface, which allowed for such great pictures of the surface after they landed.

Who filmed the luner module taking off?

We used to slip in questions about the Apollo missions, in an indirect fashion, during the job interviews which we conducted. It was an efficient way to identify candidates whom actually believed in the "Moon hoax", candidates who were thus obviously too lacking in IQ to be of any interest to us.

Okay but i have a question that nobody else asked. The rocket that went to the moon was very long in order to drop some parts to go to the moon. So how the end part that reached the surface of the moon was enough to return back to earth if so many parts and so massive fuel was needed for traveling one direction ?

Amazing, was so easy to do long time ago and now it is so painful. How are the Young supposed to be enthousiastic on becoming an astronaut when all they do is leap up to LEO inside a freefall can?

All those watching on TV believed this true.

How was it on the moon with those extreme temperatures... some people say it would be like sticking a raw chicken into the oven wrapped in tinfoil....but 100 times hotter... Also, how did you and others stay warm. We see these white water gold miners pumping hot water throughout their dive suits. What did these astronauts do for warmth.
