After failing to save a truck, the Kryptonite given to Superman begins to cloud Superman's mind, and results in him turning evil.

The irony is that this is literally the first evil thing he did in the film. He flew all the way across the Atlantic to mess with the tower! Lol.

This scene was supposed to be in Superman II. Apparently when Superman goes to get flowers for Lois, he is so overjoyed he stops to do loops around the tower, and it accidentally straightens. So I think the original "turning back time" ending of Superman II would've shown it tilt over again.

As a kid I thought Superman was still good, but the fake Kryptonite just made him do crazy things.

- He saw a building falling over, so he straightened it again.
- He saw a man about to light a fire in a crowded stadium, so he blew it out.

The Vendor is played by John Bluthal, a hilarious British actor in his own right. He was in the Vicar of Dibley, the Return of the Pink Panther and spike Milligan's Q series.
