I started learning web development watching brad everyday. From india I didn’t even had a computer. My dad cant work now bcoz of health issues. I’m the only one who works and provide my family so i worked hard i was getting $30 a month doing some data entry then i bought a used computer with 2gb ram an old dusty keyboard. Now I can practice html css JavaScript i use mobile data to download vscode bcoz I don’t have internet connection on pc it’s really poor situation but i hope i get better at programming and get a good job.

I agree, you'll never be ready in your mind when you want to start applying for jobs. I have been learning web development since 3 years and recently 2 months ago I started applying for jobs, and I received a great offer from the first interview that I gave. And still I kept applying and the experience has been great. I have been able to answer 70-80% questions asked in various interviews that I have attended. So, go for it. Start applying and good luck.

For me I learned React for 5 months, then I recently got hired as a mid level React Developer. It took me 2 months though to get a job. Also I had previous work experience as a web developer, just with different technology. You only need to learn 1 language and library / framework, dedicate 3 to 6 months of your life in learning that technology, then start applying. Don't waste too much time.

I used to be a chef for 10 years, now after 2 years of (semi-obsessive) studying I am a 'Software Applications Engineer' for an Artificial Intelligence company.

Day 1: "Here's your WordPress credentials...are you able to center this picture on the login screen?"... It's like day 50 now and what I realized is about 80% of the job is just being the guy who just does it.

Remember you're doing something most people don't want to even do; people think I'm Neo when I say 'ran a query'.... Just know how the stuff works! Not every mechanic can work on any car, not every doctor can work on every body part, its absurd to think you need to learn every language.
