Before my question I want to appreciate your efforts, you are doing best for younger generation. If a person is PhD and visit Australia with visa 408 and want to stay here, want to apply immigration what should be the steps and options for that person. Need your guidance

australia currently approves less than 5% of skilled visa from the last offer this Sept 2024 - they used to approve upto 90% pre-C and during the pandemic but due to housing issues, they suddenly put almost a complete halt. the current offers are published so no secret about it.

I am writing to inquire about the validity period of the visa 189 subclass that I currently hold. I am staying in India and I understand that this visa allows skilled workers to live and work in Australia permanently. However, I currently do not have a job offer, and I am concerned about the implications this has on my visa status and validity.

Could you please provide me with information regarding how long the visa remains valid without securing a job? Additionally, if there are any steps I should take or options available to me during this time, I would greatly appreciate your guidance.

Australia needs to build more residential-commercial buildings and infrastructure projects to meet it’s economic development goals but the utter lack of skilled or highly educated workforce (mainly due to negligence and ignorance of the local populace), has forced the ever progressive governments of Australia to continuously import skilled migrants into the country, to keep all the various engineering, mining and construction projects going on at Godspeed.
