My favorite thing about this scene is how *palpable* Peter's anger is. Before, this he was fighting to survive, but now he's fighting to kill and you can feel it.

Aslan has more emotion on his face than the entirety of Lion King 2019, and that's really sad lol.

I never noticed this before, but Jadis picked up Edmund's sword after he collapsed and fought Peter with it. She just enjoyed adding insult to injury. Shout out to Tilda Swinton for portraying a very menacing and malevolent White Witch.

I love how calm Peter is at having seen his brother stabbed, nearly dying himself, just won a battle, seen a woman have her face chewed off and then standing in front of a resurrected lion.

In this scene, Peter is the pinnacle of "NOBODY HURTS MY BROTHER EXCEPT ME!"

Always admired Peters courage in this scene. Despite going up against the White Witch, there wasn't a shred of fear in his eyes. He charged in without any concern for himself and found the courage to protect the ones he cared for. Perhaps that's the reason Aslan appointed Peter to be in charge of his army. Love it

I just love the moment of solemn peace that crosses the Witch's face before Aslan kills her. It's almost as if she's in awe of him.

I love how Aslan goes back to Jadis' castle to retrieve his own. God always remembers His lost children and goes after them. I also admire the chainmail dress. Very unique, feminine, AND badass!

Something I noticed in this scene that I really appreciate is Mr Tumnus, how he charges into battle without a weapon, without armor. He was going to deliver Lucy to the witch but decided to help her Instead, knowing that he was risking his own life. And for his efforts he was imprisoned and then turned to stone. But when Aslan resurrects him, he wastes no time in joining the fight. He uses his bare hands to battle the Witch’s forces. Because Mr Tumnus no longer fears Jadis. He has chosen to walk the right path; and obviously he knows that entering a battle without a sword or shield is dangerous, but he doesn’t care. He’s going to fight for what’s right.

2:05 I like how the Witch looked at the sword thinking about taking it, but gave up when she saw Aslan's face. Nice detail.

The most satisfying thing to me about this scene is the expression of sheer fascination on the Witch's face at the moment before Aslan finishes her.
It's almost as if she's always been secretly fascinated by him despite hating him. Her eyes seem to say "Truly... it really is you."
And I also love how Aslan does pause for a moment. It just shows how wonderful he truly is. Despite her being pure evil, Aslan still felt the sorrow and weight of having to put her to rest.
He hates to bring the punishment of death, so much so that his heart actually took sincere pity on her... even on the likes of her... for just a moment.

At the start, she wasn't taking it seriously, but then when Aslan showed up, she realized she had to end it soon, or she was done for.

Tilda Swinton is so underrated. She does a perfect job in everything I’ve seen her in.

White Witch: I thought you were dead.
Aslan: My death was greatly exaggerated.

Even though Peter lacked skill and experience, I admire that he still managed to make the successful kills on the Witch's toughest minions (Minotaurs, Cyclops, Ogres, Boggles and Harpy) and hold his own against the Witch for a while, even if she was first toying with him and then attacking him seriously.
1:12 I can't help it but sometimes get chills of Aslan roaring in the sky over the battlefield.

1:27 Notice that all the creatures and beings fighting for Jadis immediately started retreating and running away they are absolutely terrified of Aslan

When he says “It is finished” it actually referenced to the final words of Jesus in the cross, and when aslan resurrected on the stone table that is also referenced from when Jesus resurrected from the stone tomb
