For the big ones, it's better to do it one at a time anyway, then the fun lasts longer.
We did the basic wrapping fuses around each other with 2-3 packs of jumping jacks or fire crackers.

We also had a "bootleg firework": a broken bottle rocket held to it's stick with old, used tape. It (predictably) broke and went flying sideways across our lawn. :)

As a European, the idea of casually setting off fireworks Infront of your house in broad daylight is insane.

Be careful if you are gonna tie them because rubbing the fuses together too much could cause enough friction to spark them and make sure your hands and the firework are both free of powder. All it takes is a bit of flash powder and fire to ruin the rest of your year

Cinderblocks. Put your mortar tubes in cinderblocks and that will stabilize them so they won’t tip over.

Big fan of the intro, same. You also shouldn't stick 15-30 sparklers upside into a mortar tube and then light one sparkler and stick it in in the tube for 15 foot flames. You're technically lighting only 1 firework at once... also that filming of the fireworks was paid acting
