I think an easy way to get star trees back would be if they added customizable trees. Like if they made special items specifically to decorate trees without fruits? Three bunches of leaves, three spots for special decorations. I'm sure they didn't add star fragment trees because that would make the fragments too easy to obtain. So being able to decorate trees would fix that problem

It'd be so cool if these were added in the next game. They just look cool!
I get they wouldn't want you to get free star fragments, but they could make it so you have to plant 3 of them. Then you just break even

pocket camp has some seriously amazing items. the creativity and themes behind them are so varied and well-designed, id seriously love to see as many as possible make it into the next mainline game. excited for these october items! bobs gang <3

I've only played the first Animal Crossing on the game cube and ACNH on the switch oled and lite. I think I missed out on a lot.
I'm still missing 4 stupid bugs and I have so far refused to time travel to look for them, but I'm so ready to start a new island.

Personally I am tired of ACPC. These items would have been super cool to have in ACNH. It just feels like a gut punch seeing that this is ONLY for ACPC when people wanted star trees in ACNH for a long time...
