I just failed miserably on final stand, because I didn’t sell all my buildings to pay for more defences… nice one 👍🏼

I didn't build so many walls like this. I found that surrounding each of monster hole with several of our armies proven to be much more effective.

Man, as much as I like these types of games, I feel it's a bit absurd when you have to make walls that are 300ft thick. Surely there's another way the devs could work this.

I just finished the last surface wave thinking i had finished the game. Didn't realize there was another wave.

I had all the quarries on the map and even with selling all my buildings could not afford even 1/3 of the amount of stonewalls I see here

You actually don’t need that much defense for finishing it in normal. I didn’t even use units in the end (because i forgot many of them and got killed). The secret is to reinforce the places that have been already attacked throughout the game to best manage your finances. However in veteran it’s another story altogether. I was thwarted by the final wave despite my seemingly good defense. I retried in normal and it was a walk in the park compared.

A really good game for early access, many games are not in this state even as "finished" products, but it gets pretty stale after a while.

One thing that devs could really focus on is adding different kinds of heroes, but not just 3 as they have 2 extra slots ready in the menu already, but a lot more.

Nonetheless a really good strategy defense game

Cheats FTW, bro. Way to go.
To build all these walls, units and ballista towers you had to play for a week of real time 5-6 hours a day. But unfortunately it's absolutely impossible playing fair and square.
