Welcome to my channel! This is Andy from I love languages. Let's learn different languages/dialects together.

Special Thanks to Нусрат Тансыкбай

Kazakh is a Turkic language of the Kipchak branch spoken in Central Asia by Kazakhs. It is closely related to Nogai, Kyrgyz, and Karakalpak. It is the official language of Kazakhstan and a significant minority language in the Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture in Xinjiang, north-western China, and in the Bayan-Ölgii Province of western Mongolia.

Please feel free to subscribe to see more of this.
I hope you have a great day! Stay happy!

I am from Türkiye! 🇹🇷
Greetings to our sibling country Kazakhstan! 🇰🇿
May our union last forever. 🇹🇷💗🇰🇿

I'm learning your language. In the future, I want to go to Kazakhstan and live there. Astana is a truly impressive city. It is a place where we will not be culturally alienated.

Kazakh Turks are very sincere people. I see them as one of us. They seem reliable to me.

as a kazakh speaker the speaker of the video seems like from Turkey. Because: the /e/ sound in the start of the word is often pronounced as [je] (IPA) also it seemed for me that he pronounces q and ğ sound slower also it seemed that he pronounces affricate /dʒ/ more than just a simpler fricative /ʒ/ that can be influence of Turkish language that uses affricate /dʒ/ (we kazakhs use both of them but they are allophones of one /ʒ/ sound which is considered as a literary standard sound
Even though the video is wonderful thanks for your work!

Greetings from Kazakhstan!
Great video, The Latinic writing is quite accurate (even better than the official one that our officials tried to begin using)
I would like to mention that there are several dialects that depend on the regions
For instance, Southern regions name "big" as "дәу", and some regions call by "apa" their sisters rather than their grandmother
Also, the pronunciation that was in the video is quite different from the conventional. As a kazakh from southern region, I can say that the speaker in the video was not kazakh, but is quite close to what southerners would pronounce words.

Meaning of qazaq is from qaz- "to dig, to scrape, to scratch". Horses do this when they search for food under snow or in other situations. It's the simplest explanation

I've been fascinated about how all Turkic cultures are basically brothers, so many of them!

This guy was definitely from the Southern Kazakhstan. I'm from the Western part and we pronounce some sounds a little differently
