I always dreamed of seeing something like this in the sky...so fascinating. I imagine a huge angel looking down upon people from up in the clouds, and everyone gets to see it happen in the world all at the same time.

I like this almost passive depiction of Cthulhu. A being of his size and power probably wouldn't even care much about hurting humanity. He'd probably do it by accident more than anything.

This reminds me of that one dream I had where I played rock paper scissors with cthulhu. He moved really slow it took like atleast a minute for him to actually finish doing his pick I think. Anyways I ended up winning and he gave up and went back into the ocean. It still remains one of my most favourite and - surprisingly - most wierdest dream for me. So yeah, i kinda saved humanity.

i’ll never forget the time i had a dream about a cthulhu-like eldritch abomination. the fact that my feeble little human brain was able to construct something of that nature is surreal to me. the details of the dream are insane and i can still recall everything perfectly, even though it’s been over 2 years since having it; for someone with my memory, that’s pretty rare.

i’ve never felt more puny, more insignificant, and more helpless than i did in my own dream. something of that size should be next to impossible and yet the fine details were almost too precise. i’ve only looked up lovecraft’s creation a very few times throughout my life, but apparently that was enough. the sharp taste of saltwater and ice cold wind crashing everywhere, while needles of rain fell down on my crew mates. even the smell of wet wood from the ship was so strong.

looking up at something barely comprehensible and trying to process just exactly what i was seeing, is a feeling that’ll stay with me. it was insanely gigantic… appeared to be scraping the edges of our planet, and almost exceeding that. it covered the entire horizon and i remember thinking, “this place is too small for it”, because it was. earth wasn’t made with this thing in mind, there’d never be enough room. it wasn’t supposed to be here, and yet it was and it was so painfully obvious that it didn’t belong. it towered over everything, and i was awestruck at the raw size of such a creature.

if you take what’s in this video, smooth it out so that it resembles more of an octopus, and increase the dimensions of the monster to where 100% of the horizon + the sky is covered by it, you’d have something close to what i witnessed in my dream.

I think the most Lovecraftian thing about this film is that the driver is speeding toward Cthulhu.
