Serial entrepreneur Abdulla Kudrath is a self-made millionaire who turned his passion for emergency medicine into a $1.9 million a month revenue across his more than a dozen businesses. He shares the strategies he’s used to achieve this success in this interview.

Abdulla grew up as a first-generation American in a working class neighborhood of New Jersey. Like many people, Abdulla didn’t have a clear path for his future when he graduated high school. He did well in school and went to college for computer science, but he wasn’t passionate about that career choice–and it showed. He was a self-described “slacker” who put as much energy into playing video games as he did into his studies.

All of that changed when he nearly failed out of school. That served as a wake-up call for him to find his passion and what truly brought him happiness, principles that have guided his entrepreneurial ventures since. He shifted from computer science to medicine and got the opportunity to travel to the Amazon, sparking a new passion for biology that led him to become an emergency room doctor. That laid the foundation for his future successes, both within the medical field and in other areas where he’s passionate, like collecting cars.

Following his heart and passions helped Abdulla achieve his full potential, but that doesn’t mean his journey was easy. In this interview, we’ll hear the struggles he went through and the challenges he overcame, along with the sacrifices he had to make to get to where he is today. He’ll also share his advice for people who want to become millionaires, and why following your heart and passion is a better way to go about it than focusing on the money.

I can tell this dude is legit and self made just by how he treats everything as another way to make money and smart about it. Like his van will be working when not moving him around, or his mechanic teaches him stuff so his next purchase he can potentially save money. Always money savings and makings in mind. Real dude. Not daddy’s money.

I remember watching a video of a youtuber going around wealthy Houston surburbs to interview homeowners and he ran into Abdulla. I was super impressed by his background, business acumen, and his philosophy on life. I finished the video wanting to learn more about him, so I'm glad to come across this video almost a year later.

Great video 👏🏾
